A few September birthstone designs and breaking news about the weekend

**If you live in the EU or UK please contact me before ordering.  I will have to create a custom order for you in my Etsy shop due to the VAT requirements that the EU and UK have put in place.**

** Sorry due to updates to the "Packaging Act" I am unable to ship to Germany. **

All you September babies have a pretty birthstone. And it comes in so many colors!
‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌
CANCELLED!! The tournament is cancelled, due to the tropical storm that is periodically raining all over the county, so I won't be playing soccer or selling jewelry at the field this weekend. Of course you can always shop on my website. And, if you prefer in person shopping (I sure do!) you can stop by my studio (aka house) or I can come to you and do a popup trunk show for you and your gal pals. Of course there are some extra benefits for hosting a trunk show.
And, on the weather front ....
Oh my gosh! September has started out so hot and humid here! I do some serious sweating when I'm in the garage running the kiln and using the torch. Granted there are many other places in the world with hotter and more humid weather, but we're just not used to having this type of weather for so long. It has been going on for weeks. Thank goodness for Willis Carrier, the man who invented air conditioning!
On the plus side, the monsoon clouds are making some spectacular sunsets for us to enjoy.

You have some choices for September birthstones, but who doesn't love sapphire?

Sapphire is the standard birthstone for September. However, lapis is an alternate birthstone in the UK. I just have a couple of designs in my shop with sapphire right now. These fabulous, fold formed and heat patina'd earrings are one.

Here are a few designs with September birthstones ...

Fold formed copper with melted sterling silver and a sterling chain with pink, green and purple sapphires dangling from it

Sapphires and Puddles Earrings
My fold formed copper earrings with melted sterling silver and heat patinatation, sterling chain with pink, green and purple sapphire dangless and sterling ear wires. I loved the texture I got in this copper so I decided to just melt some silver dust on top, rather than enamel them.

Carved carnelian leafs, artisan lampwork, Swarovski crystals and sterling earrings in orange and steel blue
