OPAL WINGS EARRINGS
Handmade purple and white earrings with mexican purple opal gemstone wings, lavendar, purple and white artisan lampwork, lavender cubic zirconia and sterling silver.
I've loved Mexican purple opal since I first saw the rough several years ago in Tucson. I was so happy when it finally made its way to the gem cutters! I combined these beautiful Mexican purple opal wing drops with fabulous, artisan lampwork beads with twists of white, purple and lavendar. Sparkly, lavender cubic zirconia beads frame the lampwork within pretty, petaled sterling silver bead caps.
All are wire wrapped with argentium sterling silver wire and are shown hanging from sterling silver hook style ear wires. They hang down about 2 3/4" (7 cm).
Opal is the birthstone for October.
