GOLDEN CRACKLE EARRINGS
Handmade earrings with turquoise and gold leaf venetian beads, turquoise gemstones, gold vermeil and gold fill ear wires. Made to order
Handmade Murano Venetian glass beads straight from Italy are the focus for these earrings. I found them while digging through boxes of handmade beads on the island of Murano in Venice Italy several years ago. They have a turquoise base covered with 24K gold leaf and encased in clear. I surrounded them with gold vermeil faceted beads, a little turquoise bead, Pilot Mountain turquoise rondelles and gold vermeil twisted rings. They are securely wire wrapped on gold fill wire and are shown hanging on gold fill hook style ear wires. They measure 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring. These are made to order. Yours will be very similar to those in the picture but not exactly the same.
