RUSTIC AND REFINED EARRINGS
Handmade earrings - purple white grey etched artisan lampwork glass beads, gem grade amethyst gemstones, fossil dinosaur bone and sterling silver
These beautiful lampwork rings were the start for the design. They have a grey base with purple and white melted in. They are etched to give them an aged feel. Above them is something that really is old! A petrified dinosaur bone bead. I like the rough texture that it has. Above that sits a gem quality, dark amethyst bead. Below the ring hangs a gem quality, step-faceted amethyst oval. I just love the gorgeous gems mixed with the etched lampwork and ancient dinosaur bone! They are all securely wire wrapped with argentium sterling silver wire. They hang from sterling silver, hook style ear wires. They hang down 2 1/4" (5.7 cm).
Amethyst is the February birthstone.
