AMY DROP EARRINGS
Handmade purple earrings with etched, artisan white and purple lampwork, A grade amethyst and sterling silver
These beautiful, A grade amethyst drops started things off. They have some inclusions as one expects but the color is fabulous and the facets sparkle. I combined them with these wonderful, artisan made, etched lampwork beads. They have a base of white with sprinkles of purple and fine silver and they are etched for a nice matte finish. I framed the lampwork with more amethyst. All are wire wrapped with sterling silver. They measure 2 1/4" (5.7 cm) in length and hang from hook style, sterling silver ear wires.
Amethyst is the February birthstone.
