ROSEY RIPPLES EARRINGS
Artisan made rosey pink, red, orange and white enamel on copper earrings with artisan bubble and dotted lampwork, hematite, cranberry dyed freshwater pearls and sterling silver.
I do love folding, hammering and firing copper! I started these earrings off by fold forming the copper sheet in various directions to warp and ripple them a bit. Next I added MANY layers of glass. There is depth and movement in the glass. And so many colors! They hang below the beautifully bubbled and dotted, artisan made lampwork beads. Small, faceted hematite and cranberry dyed freshwater pearls frame the lampwork beads. They are shown hanging from hook style, sterling silver ear wires. They hang down 3" (7.6 cm).
