WORN BY THE WAVES EARRINGS
Artisan made blue, white and green earrings with white artisan lampwork, peridot, aged glass, crystals dangles, fibers and sterling silver.
I remember walking along the beach and seeing well worn rocks, bits of colored glass worn down to a soft, frosty look and bits of worn down rocks among strands of seaweed. There is a beach in California where some people find gemstones and I can imagine finding some peridot chunks washed down a river and worn down by the waves. For these I used manmade sea glass, crusty artisan made lampwork, and slightly tumbled peridot rough. I added some fibers to suggest the strands of seaweed one always finds wound among the rocks. Sparkly Swarovski crystlas add a bit of bling. All are wire wrapped with argentium sterling silver wire and hang from sterling silver, hook style ear wires. They hang down for about 2.75" (7 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the glass.
