PATTERNS IN PINK EARRINGS
Handmade pink, beige and black earrings with hollow artisan lampwork, pink opal, hematite, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver.
I have a weakness for pink opal and even more when the stones have beautiful patterns and colors all mixed in. These Peruvian pink opal drops have transparent areas, opaque areas, pink, brown, black, ivory and some sparkly, crystalline areas. There is so much going on in these stones. Above them are beautiful, hollow lampwork beads made by Lili Botero Ray. These start out with an almost hematite color at the top, transitions to raspberry with hints of chocolate down to paler pink and clear. Framing them are hematite, Swarovski crystals and a sterling silver accents. They have a romantic feel with the ornate, sterling cap and the beautiful pinks, beiges and ivory. They are wire wrapped with sterling silver wire and are shown hanging from sterling silver shepherds hook style ear wires. They hang down for a total length of 3.5" (9 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the drop.
