NORTHERN LIGHTS EARRINGS
Artisan made red, green and white earrings with handmade, crackled enamel copper disks and sterling silver
I made a LOT of copper circles enameled with Christmas colors and a few actually matched well enough to make earrings. I was trying for an ombre, crackle effect, but the glass had other ideas. I had the copper at a tiny slant in the kiln so things started running. The final effect came out to resemble the northern lights, or Christmas colors melting together. They are shown hanging from sterling silver hook style ear wires. The earring length is a bit over 1 1/4" (3.2 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the copper disk. I can change to niobium or surgical steel ear wires if preferred.

NOTE: What is pictured is the hook style ear wire in sterling silver. Please choose your preferred ear wire style.
