MISH MESH SPIRALS AND BLUES EARRINGS
Artisan made silver spiral mesh earrings with fused argentium sterling silver.
I had fun fusing argentium sterling silver wire to make these very open mesh-like spirals. I cut and shaped the wire, then fused it and shaped it into the spiral. I call them mish mesh since the wire fuses in interesting and unpredictable ways and looks kind of like mesh when I'm done, but the unique ways it fuses makes me think of mishmash. Inside the spiral dangles a little chain I made with kyanite tires and faceted blue sapphires between them. These hang on hook style sterling silver ear wires. The earrings hang down 2" (5.1 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the spiral. These are very light weight earrings.
