FOLDS OF SUMMER EARRINGS
Artisan made organic fold formed and enameled copper earrings
The colors in these remind me of summer. I had fun hammering and firing copper when I made these earrings. First I cut out some pieces of copper sheet, then fold formed and hammered the copper sheet to look sort of like folds in a curtain. Next I enameled some white onto the copper. Then I added some blue and green enamel and used a cool technique which creates a sort of watercolor look.
They hang from hook style, copper ear wires that I hand forged and shaped. They hang down about 2 3/8" (6 cm).
