Crackled Seastars Earrings - handmade artisan copper turquoise white green enamel starfish srajd cserpentDesigns
CRACKLE SEASTAR EARRINGS
Artisan made turquoise and white enamel starfish (seastar) on copper earrings with blue, green and beiged striped artisan lampwork, turquoise and crystals dangles and sterling silver.
For these earrings I created 2 enameled seastars (aka starfish) with similar patterns using 6 layers of glass and 4 colors on copper. They have a turquoise base (though the enamel color is called sapphire blue), white is crackled across the seastar and accents of green run up each leg (arm?). These hang below beautiful sea-toned, artisan made lampwork beads with stripes of blue, turquoise, green and beige over a white base. I framed these with brushed, sterling silver caps and small, faceted turquoise beads. Between them dangle turquoise barrels and peridot green Swarovski crystals. All are wire wrapped on sterling silver wire and are shown hanging from sterling silver, hook style ear wires. The earrings hang down 2 1/2" (6.4 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the seastar.
