CHRISTMAS SPECKLES EARRINGS
Artisan made red, green and white earrings with handmade, speckled enamel copper disks, artisan lampwork, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver
I'm having fun exploring the world of crackle enamel. I got an interesting speckle effect this time around as I enameled these and, fortunately, I was able to just about duplicate the result on the 3rd try. Crackle enamel is often luck as much as it is science. The enamels hang below lampwork bicone beads that are bubbly clear with red around the middle. I accented them with Swarovski crystals. They are wire wrapped with argentium sterling silver and are shown hanging from hook style, sterling silver ear wires. They hang a bit over 2 1/4" (5.7 cm).
