THE BEES KNEES EARRINGS
Artisan made yellow and black earrings with dotted lampwork glass, onyx gemstone rings, Czech glass and sterling silver
When I see black and yellow I think of bees and for these the phrase "the bees knees" just popped in to my brain. And since this phrase means "excellent or very high quality" it is perfect for these. I started with these beautifully detailed and dotted beads made by Tom Gronwall. They are a beautiful yellow over topaz with black dots. I framed them with Swarovski crystals. These hang below black onyx rings with a glass catseye bead inside. A Czech glass flower hangs below. All are wire wrapped with sterling silver. They measure a smidge less than 2" (5.1 cm) in length and hang from hook style, sterling silver ear wires.
