DEEP IN THE FOREST BRACELET
Handmade dark green and brown bracelet with artisan lampwork, ivory Kazuri ceramic beads, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver.
I just love the deep forest colors in the Kazuri bead focal - dark forest green and dark brown on an ivory base. The colors had some neat reactions when they were heated. I combined the focal bead with some beautiful lampwork beads from Glass Bay Studio.
The lampwork beads are also a deep green with swirls of darker green, gold and who knows what else. Mocca colored Swarovski crystals surround and separate all the beads and add a nice sparkle. Sterling silver tubes are separated by dark green Kazuri beads and draw your
eye around to the other side of the bracelet. Here I added more lampwork beads and Swarovski crystals. I finished this beauty with a rope style sterling silver clasp with a seagull shaped bar, another lampwork bead, kazuri bead and Swarovski crystal.
This handcrafted bracelet measures 7 1/4" (18.4 cm) on a bracelet sizer and should fit a 6 3/4" (17.1 cm) wrist. If the size isn't right contact me before buying so I can make sure I can adjust it to fit.
More about Kazuri beads: These are ceramic beads made by men and women in Kenya who are given fair wages to help them out of poverty. Kazuri Beads is a member of the Fair Trade Federation. They use wonderful earthy and bright colors.
