RAKU DROPS ORNAMENT EARRINGS
Artisan made raku enamel on copper ornament earrings with raku ceramic pottery beads, Czech glass and sterling silver.
I LOVE doing raku with enamels. It really gives the pyro in me a chance to have some fun! The raku on these turned out great with lots of colors and shimmer. You can see a slideshow of the process I use to make them here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/674625219175184214/.
These aren't your normal Christmas earrings. LOL! These raku ornaments hang below beautiful and rustic, artisan made raku ceramic pottery flat squares. Turquoise luster Czech glass beads frame them. They are wire wrapped with sterling silver wire. They are shown hanging from hook style, sterling silver ear wires. They measure a bit over 2 1/2" (6.4 cm) in length.
