Purple Chaos Earrings - handmade artisan organic reticulated enameled copper, amethyst, rustic srajd
PURPLE CHAOS EARRINGS
Artisan made, rustic and organic reticulated and enameled copper, amethyst, copper wire and niobium ear wires.
These are from my Forge and Flow collection. These start with the chaos created by stacking some copper bits on domed copper rounds, melting just the top layers of the copper and copper bits, letting it flow a bit and then removing the heat to see how the liquid copper reshaped itself. If things aren't quite chaotic enough I'll reheat and reflow until I'm happy with the creation. For these I layered on purple and raspberry enamels and a mist of sterling dust. Everything got tumbled to smooth out all the rough edges (one can't let chaos reign completely) and then I polished up the silver mist areas. These chaotic drops hang below amethyst beads that I framed with chaotic copper wire. The earrings hang down for a total length of a bit over 2 1/4" (5.7 cm). They are shown hanging on niobium, hook style ear wires.
