LOOK IN THE DOTS EARRINGS
Artisan made green and purple enamel earrings with purple, green and blue matte, artisan lampwork glass, handmade forged and enameled copper drops, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver
Separating enamel is another fun thing to design with! You layer on many different colors of enamel. You then put on this brown stuff, let it dry, heat it up and it eats through the layers to expose all the colors! Too cool! Anyway that's how I made these dangles. I layered grey, transparent raspberry (looks like a mauvey purple), transparent opalescent blue, jungle green and another layer of transparent opalescent blue. Above them are some fun, etched, artisan made lampwork beads. I framed them with sterling silver spacers and Swarovski crystals. The bottom crystals are violet - but the color keeps washing out in the picture. They are wire wrapped with sterling silver wire. They are shown hanging on sterling silver, hook style ear wires. They hang down 3" (7.6 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the enameled dangle.
