KLIMT ONYX DROP EARRINGS
Artisan, handmade earrings with black and gold, Klimt style venetian beads, faceted black onyx gemstone and gold fill.
Made to order. Yours will be similar, but not identical.
I combined gorgeous Venetian Murano Klimt style glass beads with beautiful, faceted black onyx drops. The gorgeous Venetian beads were handmade in Murano and were inspired by the art of Gustav Klimt. They started with a black base, wrapped a band of gold foil around the middle and then melted small bits of glass in various colors including blue, red, green, white, black and orange on top of the gold foil band. I love the shape and faceting of the onyx beads. I surrounded the beads with little gold fill rounds. All beads are securely wire wrapped with gold fill wire. These earrings are shown hanging on gold fill french style ear wires. I can make them with long and thin or shorter and fatter black onyx drops. The short version hangs down 2 1/4" (5.7 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the last bead. The longer version hangs down for a total length of 2 3/4" (7 cm). These are made to order. Yours will be very similar to those in the picture but not exactly the same.
