GOLDEN LEAF EARRINGS
Handmade red coral turquoise gold earrings with artisan lampwork, pyrite gemstone, coral and sterling silver
Pyrite is such an unusual stone - it is an aged gold in color and has an organic look to it too. A carved, pyrite leaf was the start for these earrings. They hang below wonderful, earthy, artisan made lampwork beads. The lampwork has many colors - ivory, speckles of fine silver, teal, brown, beige, turquoise, coral orange and even a splash of purple. I framed the lampwork with faceted red coral beads and sterling silver caps. All are wire wrapped on sterling silver wire and hang from sterling silver, hook style ear wires. The earrings hang down 3" (7.6 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the last bead.
