BLUE ROSES EARRINGS
Artisan made vintage look enamel earrings with blue roses and leaves on ivory and beige, antique look enameled copper, blue artisan lampwork, natural brown zircon, Czech glass flower and leaves, Swarov*** crystals and sterling silver ear wires
I love the vintage feel of these drops. I enamel copper and choose the colors and effects so it looks a bit aged. Then I fire on the glass decals. They hang below beautiful blue, silver wrapped lampwork by Darlene Collette. Dangles of Czech glass, Swarovski crystals and faceted, natural zircon and hang between them. They are wire wrapped with argentium and sterling silver and hang from sterling silver, hook style ear wires. The earrings hang down for a total length of 3 1/2" (9 cm). If needed I can change to marquise style, leverbacks, posts or surgical steel hooks. Sterling silver clip-ons are available for $8. Blue roses are often used to symbolize mystery or attaining the impossible.
