BLACK AGATE SLICES NECKLACE
Handmade black, gold, brown necklace and earrings set with artisan lampwork, black agate druzy, Swarovski crystals, smoky quartz, glass seed beads and gold fill chain, wire, crimps and bail.
I really love buying beads that are closer to the natural look of the stone. I made this necklace with faceted and polished slices of black agate druzy. Some of the slices have crystals, all have some variations in the colors and the faceting give them a nice sparkle. A beautiful, artisan lampwork focal has swirls of ivory, cream, black, brown and a bit of aventurine sparkle. AAA, faceted, thin smoky quartz rondelles, Swarovski crystals and gold seed beads provide accents for the beautiful beads. Gold fill chain adds length, without adding much weight. All the wire, crimps, bail, ... are gold fill. The necklace measures about 26 1/2" (67.3 cm) and is continuous. It fits over my head. If you would like me to add a clasp, just let me know. The focal drops for a length of 2 1/4" (5.7 cm).
