WIRE DOG BONE AND LEATHER BRACELET
Artisan, handmade sterling silver and black leather bracelet - Hand forged sterling silver dog bone, sterling silver dog charm, glass heart, aquamarine gemstone and sterling silver.
I made this wire bone in sterling silver by fusing argentium sterling silver wire together, shaping it into a bone, hammering it to get some nice texture and then I hardened it and ran it through a tumbler to burnish it. I oxidized it a bit to give a slightly rustic feel. Wire wrapped onto the bone is a murrini glass heart and a cute sterling silver dog charm with an aquamarine chip. I'm not quite sure what the dog breed is possibly bichon, poodle? Black leather wraps around from the bone to the clasp. Sterling silver wire wraps hold the leather in place. The sterling silver toggle clasp has 3 adjustment loops and more aquamarine chips dangle from the claps. All metal is sterling silver.
This handcrafted bracelet measures 6 3/4" (17.1 cm) on a bracelet sizer to fit a 6 1/4" (15.9 cm) wrist at the smallest, 7 1/4" (18.4 cm) for a 6 3/4" (17.1 cm) wrist and 7 3/4" (19.7 cm) for a 7 1/4" (18.4 cm) wrist. If the size isn't right message me with your wrist size before you purchase this and I'll let you know if I can adjust the size to fit your wrist.
Aquamarine is the birthstone for March.
