FILIGREE PEARL DROP EARRINGS
Artisan made white and silver earrings with white, A grade freshwater pearls, sterling silver filigree and sterling silver.
These are MADE TO ORDER so your pearls will differ slightly from those pictured.
These earrings have a vintage feel to me. I started with these beautiful, detailed sterling silver filigree connectors. Below them hang some beautiful, A grade, 10mm pearls. These pearls have a nice, deep nacre (that lustrous outer layer) but aren't blemish free which is why they are only A grade. Fortunately they had one half that had no blemishes so the little bumps and dips are on the backside and not visible. They are wire wrapped with sterling silver wire. These earrings are shown hanging on sterling silver hook style ear wires and hang down a bit over 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the last bead. See below for other ear wire options. Pearls are the birthstone for June.
