CRAZY HEART EARRINGS
Handmade earrings with my crackle enamel on my handmade copper hearts with reds, white, pinks, artisan lampwork, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver.
I'm getting ready for Valentine's Day! I started by cutting out freeform hearts from copper. I rounded them a bit and then used 5 colors of glass enamel and heated them up until the enamel layers started separating. Finally I dipped them in some microbeads to add a bit of texture. The hearts hang below artisan made lampwork beads with a core of silvered ivory, surrounded by clear and red glass. I framed the lampwork beads with vintage rose Swarovski crystals. They are wire wrapped with sterling silver wire and are shown hanging from hook style, sterling silver ear wires. They hang down 2 1/2" (6.4 cm). Choose your preferred ear wire style.
