DEEP BLUE SEA(STAR) EARRINGS
Artisan made teal blue and yellow enamel starfish (seastar) on copper earrings with apatite gemstone and copper.
For these earrings I created 2 enameled seastars (aka starfish) with similar patterns using 7 layers of glass and 5 colors. They are teal with hints of light blue peaking through and a sprinkle of yellow in the middle. I combined them with these pretty apatite diamonds framed by faceted neon apatite and tiny, faceted citrine beads. More of the citrine beads are wrapped around below the apatite. All are wire wrapped on copper wire and are shown hanging from niobium, hook style ear wires. The earrings hang down a bit over 2 3/4" (7 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the seastar.
