MISH MESH BLUES NECKLACE
Artisan made mesh style pendant made with fused argentium sterling silver and blue sapphires.
This is made to order. Yours will be similar, but not exactly the same due to the nature of the fusing process.
One of my mish mesh spirals wasn't too happy with my handling. One tricky thing about argentium sterling is that if you stress it (for example grab it with a pair of pliers ...) while it's hot it will crack. Well I grabbed one of my spirals just after I fused it and, CRACK, it broke. Well what is one to do with about 2/3 of a spiral? I curved it, fused the ends together and made this pendant. In the middle hangs a stack of blue sapphires for a nice bit of sparkle. It hangs on a sterling silver bail. The pendant drop measures 2" (5.1 cm) and hangs on an 18" (45.7 cm) sterling silver, flat cable chain.
