I'm working on new earring designs that will head up to the Art of the Holiday show, though they may make a brief pit stop here in my shop to give my favorite customers first dibs :)  Here are the crackle enamel pairs I made.  Some will dangle off ear wires, others will dangle below a gemstone or artisan lampwork bead.

The Art of the Holiday show is going strong at the Fallbrook Art Center.  It runs from 11/2-12/24 and is open daily Mon - Sat 10 am - 4 pm and Sun Noon - 3 pm.  The setup looks beautiful!

From idea to design

I'll be doing a show in October with the theme of Atomic Mod (aka midcentury modern) and as I was scrolling through images from a google search I came across this one.  It looks like a bunch of overlapping windows to me.

From that I came up with a design idea for earrings.  So I cut the wire that will be soldered or fused and added a lapis flat square bead for a fun accent and here is my idea book with my work in progress pieces.

And now I head out to the garage to create the finished product :)
